Sunday School
Sunday school classes are offered for all children and
young people from preschool through high school. The classes are held during the
school year between the two Sunday morning services.
For children between the ages of 3 and 6, the church offers Catechesis of the Good Shepherd, which is a Montessori-based Christian education program designed with the spiritual, emotional, and physical abilities of the children in mind (see link on this page).
For children in the first through fifth grade, we use the Seasons of the Spirit curriculum, which is lectionary-based.
Middle and High school students use FaithLens, which is also lectionary-based, but focuses on an age-appropriate discussion of a current event and its relationship to the readings of the day.
All Classes, from Adult forum through our young ones in the Atrium meet in the church Sunday School rooms from 9:00-9:45, September-May. If you are interested in having your child participate in Sunday school, talk to the clergy or call the church office at (847) 336-3730.

We are off Dec. 21 and 28 back to Sunday School on Jan. 4
