Catechesis of the Good Shepherd
We are pleased to offer Catechesis of the Good Shepherd to our 3 to 6 year old children as their religious formation.
The Catechesis of the Good Shepherd takes its name from one of the earliest and most central presentations offered to the children, the parable of the Good Shepherd. It helps the child develop a relationship with God, one of deep peace and love.
There is a profound respect for the child and their desire to come closer to God. The sessions offer a time to work, pray, sing, listen, wonder and discuss important things. In the quiet of this environment, children can make a first discovery that they have a spiritual life.
The child is predisposed to Wonder. This sense of Wondering is critical and necessary in approaching God.Wonder forms our religious life and enables us to love and be loved by God.
Sunday Schedule
Atrium meets at 9:00am and concludes at 10:20am so the children may attend Children's Chapel.
